Here's a quick summary of my hunt skills as tabulated by Entropia Tracker. The real figures are different, but the tracker gets close enough—within +/- 10% of the real PED—which is an acceptable range for reflecting what I've accomplished.

% to sell,

This is a spreadsheet excerpt of my toon's PED value. As I keep raising money, I can cycle it back into more skills or use it on other professions. I might even sell the skills, buy deeds, use the deed flow, and then buy the skills back. Feeding on itself is how it grows.

I take the above approach and raise the money I want, allowing me to advance further again. It knocks me back by 11%, but with studied play, it's easy to make it back. I can then use the funds for other things. By using the $300 to generate longer hunts, I make it back at $10 an hour, so in 30 hours, it's back. A few days of 10-hour hunts, and it goes back. As I work past that, I gain better skills and have another $300 to collect. It feels like it throws forever, but striking while the iron is hot makes it all worthwhile.
